COVID-19 in Nigeria: 156 New Cases, 54,743 Total Cases and 1051 Total Deaths as of 4th September 2020

One Hundred and Fifty-Six (156) new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic were confirmed and reported in Nigeria within the last 24 hours. This was contained in the COVID-19 update provided by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

The new cases reported are as follows:

Lagos: 36
FCT Abuja: 35
Oyo: 29
Kaduna: 10
Abia: 9
Osun: 5
Ogun: 5
Enugu: 5
Rivers: 4
Nasarawa: 3
Ekiti: 3
Imo: 3
Edo: 2
Kwara: 2
Katsina: 2
Plateau: 2
Niger: 1

Currently, there are 54,743 confirmed cases in Nigeria with 1051 deaths. However, 42,816 people have so far recovered and been discharged.
