One person, identified only as Seun, an alleged member of the Eiye confraternity, has been killed and beheaded during a cult clash in the Ijoko area of Ogun State.
Reports indicate that Seun, a fuel attendant at a filling station in Alaroro, Ijoko, was killed in a reprisal attack.
His decapitated head was found hung on the Ijoko bridge.

The clash reportedly began last Friday when Adisa, a suspected leader of the rival Aye confraternity, was killed and his hand chopped off by a rival group.
In retaliation, members of the Aye confraternity shot and killed two members of the Eiye cult group.
An anonymous source provided further details: “On Friday, Adisa, the Aye leader, was killed and his hand cut off. In retaliation, members of Aye returned on Saturday around 6 pm and killed two Eiye members in a brutal manner.
They beheaded Seun, a fuel attendant at Alaroro in Ijoko.
“The attackers specifically targeted Seun, shooting him first and causing everyone nearby to flee. They then finished him off and beheaded him. The Ayes left only Seun’s head at the scene, taking his body with them.
The streets of Ijoko are now deserted, with residents living in fear. Increased police presence is urgently needed.”
When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Ogun State Police Command, Omolola Odutola, stated that she was not aware of the incident.
“I don’t have the information. If such happened, the DPO Ijoko Ota would have informed us,” Odutola said.
