Our client, a leading provider of maritime services to a multinational clientele, has a well-deserved reputation for consistent and reliable service delivery. To further strengthen its operational capabilities and business practices, the company is seeking to hire an experienced and hard-working industry professional into the following role: Data Analyst
The Role: Reporting to the Executive Director, you will be responsible for collecting and combining data from different sources of information which you will use to solve complex problems through sound analysis.
You will be expected to:
• Maintain clearing operations information analysis and follow up on a daily basis
• Prepare and dispatch operations status reports to clients on a daily basis
• prepare and maintain ferry management information analysis
• prepare collateral management analysis reports and warehouse stock reports
• carry out any other duty as assigned by the company
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Degree-qualified in accounting, economics, information technology or any related discipline
• Age: 28– 35 years
• Minimum of 3 years’ cognate experience as a Data Analyst
• Competent knowledge of computer software and spreadsheets
• Must be process-driven, methodical and pay strong attention to detail
• Must be able to multitask effectively
This position is to be filled immediately. The remuneration available will be commensurate with the anticipated demands of the role.
