    Davido Mourns Late Uncle, Isiaka Adeleke

    davido5 600x337Nigerian singer Davido is currently heartbroken over the death of his uncle, Senator Isiaka Adeleke.

    The music star took to his various social media accounts today, April 24, 2017, calling him his hero.

    “Heartbroken.. Rest In Peace My dear uncle …. SHERUBAWON,” he wrote on Instagram.

    Meanwhile, the government of Osun has said it is still in shock over the sudden death of the first civilian Governor of the state, Alhaji Isiaka Adeleke.

    The government described as a nightmare, the news of the death of one of the illustrious sons of the state.

    In a statement signed by the Director, Bureau of Communication and Strategy, Office of the Governor, Mr. Semiu Okanlawon, the government said the death of Senator Adeleke is hard to accept.

    Adeleke, who died on Sunday, April 23, was laid to rest on Monday, 24, at his country home in Ede.

    The ceremony was attended by Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun state and his Ondo counterpart, Rotimi Akeredolu among others.

    Adeleke died early on Sunday after suffering a heart attack at the Bikets hospital in Osogbo.

    He was the first executive Governor of Osun State and a two term Senator and was due to contest the 2018 governorship elections on the platform of the APC.
