It’s been a year since the mass shooting, suicide bombing, and hostage taking in Paris that shook the world in November 2015.
The city has been healing from the incident and Nigerian singer, Davido further eased the gloom that befell an area affected by the attacks with his recent performance there.
This is after DMW boss took to the stage at Bataclan, one of the scenes of the Paris attack, during his recent Europe tour.
Davido, whose concert sold out at the 1,500-seat ballroom, also performed in London and Amsterdam before arriving Nigeria for Christmas, last weekend.
After the show, Davido wrote, ‘Thank you Paris!! I say it again without my fans [I’m] nothing!!!’
On November 13, 2015 terrorists killed at least 137 people and injured 368 more in six separate attacks around Paris, France.
The gunmen – Foued Mohammed Aggad, Ismaël Omar Mostefaï, and Samy Amimour – also went on a mass shooting and took hostages at the Bataclan, a 1,500-seat hall, where concertgoers were watching US rock group Eagles of Death Metal.
Then, Austrian duo, White Miles, had finished their performance at the sold out concert.
90 people were killed and over 200 were wounded at the venue.
Country forces later took control of the theatre, and two gunmen killed themselves during the police raid by detonating suicide vests they were wearing.
A third was killed by police gunfire before he could detonate his vest.
