Diego Simeone Is Wrong To Say Nobody Is Defending In The EPL – Rodri

Manchester City midfielder, Rodri has come out to fire back at Atletico Madrid boss, Diego Simeone over his claim that nobody is defending in the Premier League. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, he disagrees with Diego Simeone completely because there are several EPL teams who only play defensive football when they come up against Manchester City.

Rodri added that majority of the opponents MCFC face in the Premier League will rather sit back.

His words, “I disagree a little bit. Not all teams play in the same way, but against Man City there are a lot of teams who look to defend for 90 minutes. Of course, this is not always the case and for other matches there will be more open spaces, but it is a tough league with strong defences.”
