The Kaduna State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has deployed 1,500 personnel across the 23 Local Government Areas of the state to ensure the safety of lives, property, and critical national assets during the Eid-ul-Adha celebrations.
The deployment was ordered by the State Commandant, CC Nuhu Dansadau, ahead of the two-day public holiday declared by the Federal Government — Friday, June 6, and Monday, June 9, 2025 — to mark the Muslim festival.
This was disclosed in a statement on Tuesday by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SC Musa Labaran.

According to the statement, the Commandant assured residents of Kaduna State of the corps’ readiness to maintain law and order throughout the festive period and urged members of the public to go about their lawful activities without fear.
He warned criminal elements to desist from unlawful acts or face the full wrath of the law.
Dansadau also used the occasion to felicitate with Muslims, praying that Almighty Allah grants the leadership of the corps wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to steer its affairs effectively.
He reaffirmed the NSCDC’s commitment to working in synergy with other security agencies to guarantee peace and security in Kaduna State during and after the celebrations.
