England captain Harry Kane has said that crashing out of the World Cup against Argentina left him feeling empty. He recently had his say via his social media page, and fans have been reacting.
Revealing that he and his teammates gave everything to win the 2026 World Cup, Kane disclosed that the loss against Argentina was a very bitter pill to swallow.
The striker added that falling short again just before the final is incredibly frustrating for the Three Lions.
His words, “No words are big enough right now to overcome this empty feeling in the stomach.
We were close, really close to another final, but it wasn’t enough. We’ve given everything over these last 7 weeks, and to fall short is hard to take! I know the expectations are high and rightly so; we’ve been knocking on the door for 8 years now but again are missing that final piece of the jigsaw!

Harry Edward Kane MBE (born 28 July 1993) is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker for Bundesliga club Bayern Munich and captains the England national team. A prolific goalscorer with strong link play, Kane is regarded as one of the best strikers in the world.
He is both Tottenham Hotspur’s and England’s all-time highest goalscorer, as well as being the second-highest all-time goalscorer in the Premier League. Kane has scored over 350 goals for club and country.

Harry Edward Kane was born on 28 July 1993 in Walthamstow, London to Kim (née Hogg) and Patrick Kane and has one older brother, Charlie. He has Irish ancestry through his father, who is from Galway.
