Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has said that Estêvão raised the energy at Stamford Bridge against Wolves. The home side were booed off at half-time, having dominated the league’s bottom side without finding a breakthrough.
Reacting after sealing a 3-0 victory to go second in the Premier League, Maresca said that the Brazilian youngster’s talent is obvious and he’ll keep helping him adapt to life as an EPL footballer.

He added that it is only a matter of time before Estêvão begins to start matches for Chelsea.
His words, “I was very worried before this game. These are the worst games, they’re tricky. Everyone is thinking it’s going to be easy.
I can understand first half people were not happy because we didn’t score. Then when Estêvão came on the energy raised because people love that kind of player.
You can see his talent. We are trying to help him to adapt and give him the right minutes.
He arrived from Brazil, he needs time to adapt, but he’s going to start games for us in the future.
He arrived from a club where he was not training 100 percent so his physical condition was not good. Slowly now he is better.
He knows that to play with us he needs to be good on the ball and off the ball otherwise he’s not going to play. We are very happy with him.”
WOW.
Chelsea Football Club is an English professional football club based in Fulham, West London. Founded in 1905, they play their home games at Stamford Bridge.
The club competes in the Premier League, the top division of English football. They won their first major honour, the League championship, in 1955. The club won the FA Cup for the first time in 1970, their first European honour, the Cup Winners’ Cup, in 1971, and became the third English club to win the Club World Cup in 2022.
On 7 May 2022, Chelsea confirmed that terms have been agreed for a new ownership group, led by Todd Boehly, Clearlake Capital, Mark Walter and Hansjörg Wyss, to acquire the club. The group was later known as BlueCo.
The UK government approved the £4.25bn takeover, ending Abramovich’s 19-year ownership of the club. Bruce Buck, who served as chairman since 2003, was replaced by Boehly, while long-serving club director and de facto sporting director Marina Granovskaia left, as did Petr Čech from the role of technical and performance advisor.
