Following the EndSARS protest, FIRS, has given update on it’s page, of the economic implication of the protest, on businesses in Nigeria, and the brain behind granting a tax waiver.

According to the Federal Inland Revenue Service, the tax palliative is an inclusion to existing tax palliatives.

FIRS stated that the destruction of properties and the disruption of businesses caused by the protest happened when the economy is just recovering from the effects of COVID- 19.
