    Federal Ministry Of Health Gives Advise On Chronic Diseases Prevention

    The Federal Ministry Of Health, Nigeria has given further non-pharmaceutical advise on how to reduce the risk of contacting chronic diseases.

    The ministry has today identified healthy eating as a vital role in preventing chronic diseases like COVID-19.

    In its advice the Federal Ministry Of Health urged people to increase their intake of fruits and vegetables more than ever and reduce the intake of salt and sugar.

    The ministry also recommended drinking water in large quantity at every meal. The Federal Ministry Of Health further stressed that these measures increases someone’s immunity against chronic diseases.
