Five persons have been injured following a violent clash between herders and farmers in Ungogo Local Government Area of Kano State.
Security analyst Zagazola disclosed the incident in a post on his X handle on Saturday, stating that the confrontation occurred around 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 8, in Sabon Gida Minchika village.
The victims, identified as Abubakar Muhammad, Nasiru Miko, Umar Usman, Umar Sale, and Anas Usman — all residents of the same village — reportedly sustained serious injuries during the altercation.

They were rushed to the Ungogo Primary Health Care Centre, where they received medical attention before being discharged.
The Kano State Police Command confirmed the incident, noting that key stakeholders from both sides had been invited for dialogue to prevent a recurrence.
Police further assured that normalcy had been restored to the community, which remains calm following the intervention.
