Phil Foden, Manchester City midfielder has won the Premier League Young Player of the Season award for 2020-21. The English Premier League recently revealed this via a statement, and the world has been reacting.

According to the EPL, Foden starred as Manchester City won the title for a third time in four seasons, and he had a lot of standout performances in the team.
The Premier League added that Foden is only the second player to receive the accolade, and he follows in the footsteps of Liverpool defender, Trent Alexander-Arnold.
A PL statement read, “The 21-year-old starred as Manchester City won the title for a third time in four seasons.”
“One of his standout performances came in the 4-1 victory at 2019-20 champions Liverpool, when he scored one goal and set up another.”
