    Four LGAs in Bauchi State benefit from N58m World Bank Donation

    World Bank LogoFour local government areas in Bauchi State has been gifted N58 million by the World Bank. The benefiaciary LGAs are Bogoro, Tafawa Balewa, Itas-Gadau and Shira local government areas. The donation is meant for the construction of additional Primary Schools blocks, drainages and maternity clinics.

    Presenting the Cheque to the local governments in Bauchi weekend, General Manager, Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA), Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Mohammed, said that each of the four local governments will have three committees that would ensure proper monitoring and full implementation of the projects in their areas.

    He enjoined the benefiting local governments to be committed and transparent while implementing the project for the overall development of their areas and the state in general.

    Sadiq applauded Governor Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar for his interest in executing laudable projects across the state for the betterment of the common man.

    In their seperate remarks, the Heads of administration of the benefiting local government areas promised to support Governor Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar in providing more dividends of democracy to the people of the state.  They assured the Agency of their commitment in ensuring that the project is executed according to standard and specification.
