Arsenal manager, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang feels Gabriel Martinelli deserves to be praised for the way he has been played for Arsenal this season.
Gabriel has dazzled since his summer move from Ituano, netting 7 goals to be ranked as the Gunners’ second-top scorer so far, behind Aubameyang.
Martinelli provided the assist for Emerick’s opener in their 2-1 Europa League defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday and has three goals in the competition thus far.
Speaking on his form, Auba feels he has done very well and he has settled into the team easily.
His words, “Gabriel Martinelli has done really well, scoring goals and settling into the team really quickly since he joined,”
“When he arrived in the summer I had a good chat with him and from talking to him I can tell you he’s very humble, and also so determined to succeed.
“It’s easy to forget how young he is, because he’s already at home in the first team dressing room, but we need to give him the credit for coming to a new country and doing so well so quickly.”
