The Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Godwin Emefiele has appeared before the Osinbajo investigative panel.
Reports say Emefiele was summoned to shed more light on the funds recovered from an apartment in Ikoyi, Lagos state.
The suspended Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ambassador Ayo Oke said the money belongs to the international spy agency.
Oke also said that the money, which was appropriated during the Goodluck Jonathan administration, was collected from the CBN.
Buhari’s media aide recently told Nigerians that anybody found culpable at the end of investigations, will be handed over to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
