Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has assured the people of the state that the forthcoming congress of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will be free of rancor.
Speaking through the party’s spokesperson, Andetarang Iramae, after a meeting with the state working committee of the party in Jalingo, the state capital, Governor Kefas expressed confidence that more people would soon abandon their political parties and embrace the PDP.
The meeting, which was held in preparation for the forthcoming congresses of the party, brought together the state working committee of the PDP.

Governor Kefas emphasized the party’s readiness to organize free and transparent congresses, stating that the party’s leadership in the state is committed to bringing rapid development to all parts of Taraba State.
Governor Kefas highlighted that his leadership would positively impact the lives of the people, calling on all Tarabans, irrespective of political parties, to support him to succeed.
He disclosed that issues concerning the growth of the PDP were discussed at the meeting, emphasizing his administration’s commitment to ensuring development across all parts of the state.
Supporting the governor’s stance, some committee members expressed their confidence in the PDP’s unity and success in both national and local government elections, debunking rumors of internal division within the party.
