Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia has attributed all his accomplishments in office over the past year to President Bola Tinubu.
Governor Alia made this disclosure on Friday during his thank-you tour to the Makurdi/Guma Federal Constituency.
The clergyman-turned-politician emphasized that every achievement, including the construction of roads, an underpass, payment of salaries, pensions, and gratuities, as well as the remodeling of the Assembly Complex and State Secretariat, was possible due to President Tinubu’s support.

“All my achievements are the handiwork of President Tinubu,” Alia stated, highlighting the significant backing he received from the President.
Alia also urged the people of Benue State to be patient, assuring them that President Tinubu had “very good intentions for the citizenry.”
Additionally, Governor Alia promised to renovate and upgrade the Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida (IBB) Square in Makurdi to international standards.
He noted that the facilities at the over 30-year-old square, constructed during the military era, were outdated and needed urgent attention.
Looking ahead, the governor announced that the payment of salaries and pensions would commence on the 22nd of every month.
