Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of the PDP is still maintaining his lead in the governorship polls in Delta State.
Results coming out from Ughelli South, from Dr Solomon Omonigho who is the Returning Officer announced that Ifeanyi Okowa received 32,086 votes, while Chief Great Ogboru polled 20233 votes.
In Udu local government, Ifeanyi polled 9,042 to beat Chief Great Ogboru who polled 8,605. In Warri South , the PDP governorship candidate, scored 34,977 votes to beat Chief Great Ogboru who scored 12,982.
In Bomadi local government, Dr Miller Owhelogbo revealed that Governor Ifeanyi Okowa scored 63, 851, while Chief Great Ogboru polled 4,437.
As for Uvwie local government area, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa attracted 15,455 to beat Chief Great Ogboru of the APC who scored 10,467, Returning Officer, Prof Adeshina Oladipupo said.
Revealing the results from Warri South West, Returning Officer Dr Samuel Jesuobo said Governor Ifeanyi Okowa polled 139, 534to defeat his major opponent, Chief Great Ogboru who scored 10,906.
In Warri North Local Government Area, Prof Felix Osariemen, the Returning Officer said Governor Ifeanyi Okowa scored 44,713 to beat his rival of the APC, Chief Great Ogboru who scored 11,116 while the Returning Officer for Ughelli North Local Government Area, Dr Daniel Otakhorgbogie also revealed that Dr Ifeanyi Okowa scored 19,045 to defeat Chief Great Ogboru of the APC who scored 22,081.
In Burutu local government area, the Returning Officer, Mr Ndubisi Moghalu said Governor Ifeanyi Okowa polled 49,722 to defeat Chief Great Ogboru who scored 3,645.
