    Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi Clinches Second Term In Enugu state

    Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu StateThe Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared PDP’s Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi winner of the Saturday’s Governorship election in Enugu state for a second tenure.

    Prof. Joseph Ahaneku, Returning Officer in the state, disclosed that Ugwuanyi emerged victorious in the 17 local government areas (LGAs).

    He attracted 449,935 votes against his closest rival, Sen. Ayogu Eze of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who polled 10,423 votes.

    He ended by saying 478,241 voters were accredited, 470,927 valid votes were recorded, while 7,314 votes were declared invalid.
