Governor of Adamawa, Mohammed Bindow has offered his congratulations to President Muhammadu Buhari for his re-election.
He said Buhari’s success was a sign that he has been a good and visionary leader since 2015.
His words, “You have led Nigeria and our party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), to an unprecedented height within fours years, and in so doing, written the most important chapter of our democracy”,
He then begged Nigerians to stay calm and peaceful during the remaining elections to ensure our democracy is intact.
His words, “this election has further demonstrated that democracy has come to stay in our country.”
He also praised INEC and the security agencies scattered all over the country for a job well done.
President Buhari was announced winner by INEC with 15,191,847 votes to ensure his victory against Atiku Abubakar of PDP, who received 11,262,978.
