Fulham manager, Marco Silva has come out to vent his frustration at the decision to not send Chelsea’s Malo Gusto off for a reckless challenge. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, it had to be a red card for Gusto if the referees are consistent with their decisions because players have been sent off for such challenges this season.
Silva added that it was clearly as a dangerous tackle that put an opponent in trouble, so VAR had to correct the wrong decision to let the game continue.
His words, “That has to be red card for Gusto. It is difficult to understand how things are not consistent at this level in the Premier League. Probably nine out of ten times that has been a red card. It was a dangerous tackle and put the player in trouble, it is a clear red card. VAR check, but this time they do not give.”
WOW.
