After the terrible slaughter of Israeli civilians at the hands of the Islamist militant group Hamas, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius promised his Israeli counterpart Yoav Gallant further support.
Two German Heron TP combat drones were approved for deployment by Israel in attacks on the Gaza Strip on Wednesday evening.
The Israeli Ministry of Defense has been granted permission to utilize unmanned aerial vehicles in its campaign against the Islamist organization Hamas, according to a statement released by the German Ministry of Defense.

The Israeli arms company that makes these drones is currently leasing them to the German armed forces, the Bundeswehr.
German soldiers are learning to fly two of the planes in Israel.
While the drones are being redeployed, training for German pilots has apparently been put on hold by Israel, according to the German news magazine Der Spiegel.
Earlier on Wednesday, Pistorius had warned that if the situation deteriorated, Israel would communicate with its partners. He was speaking on the outside of a conference of NATO defense ministers.
He stated that Germany is willing to assist in every way possible, including supplying humanitarian aid to Israel.
Israeli officials have previously stated that they “do not need support of a military or technical nature,” according to Pistorius.
The key, he said, is political backing.
The Islamist group Hamas, which controls the Gaza Strip, attacked Israel on a massive scale on Saturday.
Israel’s response has been a campaign of constant bombings against the highly populated coastal strip.
There have been almost a thousand fatalities on both sides. (NAN)
