Borussia Dortmund striker, Erling Haaland has come out to react to his club’s latest controversial handball call today vs Fortuna Dusseldorf.
Haaland simply revealed that he feels the handball rule only goes against Borussia Dortmund these days.
According to him, he was happy to score the winner because the team needed something up front and he took his chance when he was given the opportunity.
He added that Dusseldorf had good tactics in the game and made it difficult for Dortmund, but good teams are expected to win even on bad days.
His words, “I haven’t seen the replay yet, but I have the feeling this handball rule is currently only against us.”
On his goal vs Fortuna Dusseldorf, “The team needed something up front and I was just waiting for my chance and luckily I got it in the end, and it was a goal, so it was very nice,”
“We had some chances and they also had chances, so I don’t want to say we were lucky but three points is very nice.
“Dusseldorf had good tactics and made it difficult for us, but good teams win even on bad days.”
