Prince Albert of Monaco has come out to blast Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for their interview with Oprah Winfrey. He recently revealed that the couple should have shared their dissatisfaction with royal life with members of the royal family privately, instead of going public with it.
According to him, even if he understands the pressures Harry and Meghan might be under right now, he’d be lying if he said the interview didn’t bother him.
He added that an interview with Oprah was definitely not the appropriate forum for such discussion.
His words, “I think this type of public display of dissatisfaction, these type of conversations should be held within the intimate quarters of the family.”
“It doesn’t really have to be laid out in the public sphere like that.”
“So it did bother me a little bit, I can understand where they’re coming from in a certain way, but I think it wasn’t the appropriate forum to be able to have these kinds of discussions.”
