Leicester City defender, Harry Maguire has come out to state it was not his intention to “like” an Instagram comment that suggested he was set to sign for Manchester United.
Maguire has been linked with an £80 million ($102m) move from Leicester City to United, as they look to bolster the depleted squad.
The English international aided reports yesterday when he seemed to agree with a comment from a fan on one of his social media posts.
The tall CB publicly ‘liked’ a message claiming he would be a “fan favorite” at Old Trafford, but later shared on Twitter that it was an honest mistake.
His words, “I didn’t mean to guys… we’ve all been there.”
Maguire cost Leicester a reported £17m ($22m) when he joined from recently relegated Hull City in June 2017.
