Labour Party presidential nominee Peter Obi expressed his condolences to the family of the late Christ Apostolic Church founder, Prophet Michael Ojo Olowere (also known as Oke-Agbara).
On Wednesday, Oyo State’s capital and home to the Prophet Michael Ojo Olowere, passed away in his home.
In response, Obi tweeted late on Thursday night that the deceased minister was highly revered in the Christian community.

He emphasised the prophet’s extraordinary impacts through evangelism and the late prophet’s significant contributions to the growth of the missionary movement and society at large.
He lamented, “I have just learned of the passing of Prophet Michael Olowere, the founder of Christ Apostolic Church in Oke-Agbara and a well-known evangelist in his own right.
At Christ Apostolic Church, where he served as minister, he held a high level of esteem. He made significant advancements in missionary work and social development.
His decades-long ministry had a significant impact on the people of Oyo State and beyond. My deepest condolences go out to his loved ones and the congregation of Christ Apostolic Church. God rest his soul in peace and provide strength to his family and friends.
