Manchester United goalkeeper, Dean Henderson is currently playing up to the cameras, Paul Scholes has said. He recently revealed that Henderson allowed Simon Kjaer’s header to slip past him against AC Milan because he was trying to make it more difficult than it should be.
According to him, Dean himself knows he should be saving that equalizer because it was such a straightforward ball, and he clearly let the team down.
Ole added that he has seen the ex Sheffield player save such balls in training, but it was just a consequence for dropping too deep.
His words, “He should save it.”
“I think he’s trying to make it a little bit more difficult than it should be.”
“First and foremost keep the ball out of the net. He should save that, there’s no doubt about it, he’ll know that.”
Ole added, “I’ve seen him [Henderson] save them, but it’s the structure that we lose. We dropped too deep and we get blocked off and they get the header on.”
“We should have attacked the ball with the men we had there.”
