The serving member of the Federal House of Representatives and Chairman, House Committee on Rural Development, Hon (Dr) Ladi Adebutu, was a special guest of honour at the coronation of and presentation of staff of office to HRM Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, Torungbuwa II, the Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland on December 7, 2017.
The ceremony which took place at the Gateway Stadium, Sagamu, had in attendance eminent personalities across Remoland and Nigeria.
The roll call included the Vice President of Nigeria, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, Sir Kesington Adebutu, Ooni of Ife, HRM Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Alake of Egbaland, HRM Oba Aremu Gbadebo, Oba of Lagos, HRM Oba Rilwan Akiolu, Chief Bisi Rodipe, Chief Doyin Okupe, Vice Chancellor, Babcock University, Professor Ademola Tayo, prominent kings and high chiefs, scholars and business men of international repute.
