
Over 100 youths across the Remo Federal constituency are set to participate in the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) vocational training program facilitated by Hon (Dr) Ladi Adebutu, Chairman, House Committee on Rural Development.
While addressing the participants at his constituency office, Oba Erinwole Road, Sagamu, on January 29, 2018, Adebutu stated that the scheme was one of the numerous dividends of democracy he had facilitated to Remo Federal Constituency. He listed the constituency projects which cut across all Remo communities to include installation of transformers, construction of blocks of classrooms, construction of motorised boreholes with 3000 water capacity overhead tanks, construction of roads, installation of solar light, gainful employment of graduates into federal civil service among others.
The federal lawmaker stated further that the training program was organised for the youths to enable them acquire skills that would make them to be self-reliant and productive. He added that one of his cardinal points was to generate massive employment, which according to him, was key to the security and economic development of Ogun State.

The delectable wife of Hon Ladi, Yeye Adenike Adebutu, on her own part, expressed confidence in the program. She admonished the participants to be focused and encouraged them to brace up and make good use of the scheme.
The skills acquisition program is the third (3rd) in the series.
