In contrary to what political opponents and haters spread about Senate President Bukola Saraki who is the leader of APC in Kwara State and North Central geopolitical zone, claiming he is full of pride and ego, as a very humble, cultured and courteous leader, Saraki was caught kneeling down for elderly people in Ilorin last week during the condolence visit to his Senior Special Assistant on Political Matters, Alhaji Sanusi Muhammed Toyin who lost his wife same week. It’s worth noting that it was in the same event that the immediate past representative of Ilorin West/North at Kwara State House of Assembly and Personal Assistant to the former Chairman of Federal Character Commission, Hon. Fatai Salman Babakini and Mr. Abdulwasiu Olayinka Tejidinni respectively, who were members of PDP during 2015 elections, also knelt down for Sen. Saraki while greeting him but got adjudged by many people as their pictures went viral online. Will the feeble-minded also call down on Saraki for his action of kneeling down for the elders? That’s in the next life because a very perpetual hypocrisy is in action.
In contempt of the fact that Bukola Saraki was born with sliver spoon in his mouth and had foreign breeding, he is always meek and respectful in his relationship with consanguinity and political associates, though people with opposite political axioms wittingly confuse the public by referring to his meekness as pompous disposition. However, as a perfect gentle man with higher political dexterity, who is very brilliant and articulate while addressing burning issues, it is expected the parochial minded individuals mislead and get misled on anything he says and acts.
The mind bugging question is that, for how long will they continue to fight destiny when we all know that nobody fights destiny and wins? It’s high time Kwarans shunned politics of bitterness and rally round Saraki who was crowned by Allah, the most high, against the will of powerful human beings in his party, APC, so that the benefits of the precious office of the Senate President, which are being tasted by many Kwarans, will be tasted by all and sundry in the next few months. God bless us all.
