UFC star, Israel Adesanya has come out to apologize for saying he would rape his fellow fighter, Kevin Holland in the boxing ring. The popular boxer had said this while trash-talking Kevin in a since-deleted video, and it sparked a huge controversy.
Apologizing recently, he agrees that he crossed the line with the usage of the word, and he now understands the gravity of what was said.
He added that his intention was to hurt his opponent, but he ended making other people apart from Kevin sad.
His words, “Last week fight talk escalated to a point in which I crossed the line. I understand the gravity of this word and how it can affect and hurt other people apart from my opponent, although that was never my intention. I am still growing under the spotlight, and I take this as a lesson to be more selective with words under pressure.”
