Veteran Nollywood actor Yinka Quadri has celebrated his birthday in style. He recently marked his special day with prayers and a charity visit, choosing service over a conventional celebration.
In a message shared on his social media page, the actor said that he dedicated his birthday to prayers, charity and gratitude.
The moviestar concluded by thanking God for life, protection and another year on earth.
His words, “Alhamdulillahi Rabbil ‘Alamin. Glory be to God Almighty, for He alone makes all things possible. Today, I am +1. I am deeply grateful to Allah for the gift of life, for His protection, His mercy, and for bringing me to yet another beautiful milestone. My prayer is that Allah grants me long life, sound health, peace, prosperity, and a life filled with purpose and impact. Ameen.
To my family, friends, fans, colleagues, and all my wonderful well-wishers who wish to celebrate with me, I sincerely appreciate your love, prayers, and goodwill. Rather than a conventional birthday celebration, I have chosen to dedicate today to prayers, charity, and gratitude.
I will be at home from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for prayers. Afterwards, I will proceed to a charity home to share love and give back to those in need, before returning home.
Anyone who wishes to celebrate with me is warmly welcome to visit me at home after the charity visit. Your presence, prayers, and goodwill will mean more to me than any elaborate celebration. My birthday prayers today will be centred on: Long life, prosperity, peace and divine protection for myself and my family. Peace, progress and prosperity for Nigeria and Nigerians.

As I begin another year of my life, I pray that Allah continues to guide my steps, bless my family, increase me in wisdom and grace, and make my life a blessing to others.
