Uche-Secondus1The Acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Prince Uche Secondus, has denied being part of the beneficiaries of the $2.1bn arms purchase funds which was allegedly looted by the former National Security Adviser (NSA), Col. Sambo Dasuki and some politicians.

Secondus said he did not take a dime from the former NSA, saying the panel of enquiries which probed the arms procurement did not mention his name among those who benefited from the money.

“I was not mentioned among those that collected money from the former NSA. I saw some reports linking me with it in either their headlines or body of their stories.

“That is wrong. Have you seeing my name or company among those who took money? The answer is no! I didn’t collect a dime from the former NSA”, the PDP Chieftain told Punch.

Executive officers of the PDP had called on some of their members named in the arms scandal not to involve the party, as they collected the funds from Dasuki in their personal capacity.
