Ex English Premier League striker, Chris Sutton has come out to say that Rudiger would be a big loss for Chelsea. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, Rudiger has been a rock at the back for Chelsea this season and having to let him go for free will have a negative impact on the team next season.
Chris added that he cannot see Chelsea competing next season with the uncertainty which lies over them at the moment.
His words, “Chelsea have got big problems, there’s so much uncertainty which is going to continue until there is a new owner in place,”
“They may lose other players, I cannot see Chelsea competing next season with the uncertainty which lies over them at this moment.”
“[Andreas] Christensen is off, [Cesar] Azpilicueta – it’s going to be interesting to see what happens to him. And then you look at the young talented players they have let go. [Kurt] Zouma to West Ham, [Marc] Guehi to Crystal palace and [Fikayo] Tomori. Talented players who may have been able to step up.”
