Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, said the forces behind the election results will stand solidly against a repetition of the 2023 presidential election.
Primate Ayodele warned that the All Progressives Congress (APC) would be exposed by leaks in the court if they were not contained.
According to him, the APC is closely watching the proceedings at the electoral tribunal to make sure nothing is done to help the opposition win.
Ayodele’s Media Aide, Oluwatosin Osho, released a statement in which he said, “If the tribunal wants to be fair, the best is to call for a rerun, but forces behind the case will want the election result to remain as it is.”
I believe we are headed in the same general direction as the last election, but the forces responsible for that election will want to keep things the same.
‘’The judicial system will take a hit and become obsolete as a result of this. Because of this, Nigerians won’t be able to trust INEC. If the Judiciary doesn’t approve, INEC will have to foot the bill in the future.
What I see is a repeat, but those in control will fight to keep it that way. While the tribunal’s mission is to restore faith in Nigeria’s judicial system and address widespread abuses of power, its backers are actively working to undermine it.
Primate Ayodele emphasized that a fair judgment from the judiciary is meant to inspire Nigerians, but that there will be powerful forces working to overturn this.
But he warned that a biased ruling would render both the courts and the impartial National Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) useless.
The Lord has made it clear that there are leaks in the Tribunal as Nigerians anxiously await the verdict. The ruling party would be exposed due to the leaks’ poor packaging.
“The governing party has come to the same conclusion. This trial is being watched by cabals, and they are in a desperate state,” he stated.
