David Silva says he prays of winning the Champions League with Manchester City to complete an incredible medal haul.
“We’re playing really good football, beautiful football — scoring so many goals,” the 31-year-old told a news conference.
“It would be amazing [to win it]. I pray every night to win the Champions League with City. Hopefully we can win it this year.
“We are playing well in all the lines. From the goalkeeper to the striker, you can see it in every game.”
Silva says he is very happy at the club working under Pep Guardiola since he switched to a midfield role and insists he wants to play at the Etihad Stadium for 10 years.
“We are still talking [about a new deal],” he said. “I hope I can sign soon as I would love to be playing for City in 10 years.
“I think it’s a good position for me. I love to play in the middle to be in contact with the ball all the time. I’m very happy to play in that position.”
Napoli have never lost at home to a Premier League side in five attempts and Silva is expecting a difficult night.
“We lost so I don’t have a good [memory] about this stadium but I hope we can change tomorrow,” he said.
