Everton midfielder, James Rodriguez has come out to say that retirement might not be far off. James recently revealed that he believes so because he doesn’t intend to keep playing when he is too old.
According to him, he is yet to give retirement much thought, and he still cannot say where he would love to retire from football.
Rodriguez added that he is looking to learn and help young players grow right now because that is the least he can do.
His words, “I haven’t given it much thought.”
“I can’t tell you where I would like to retire. I don’t think it will be long because I wouldn’t want to play when I’m too old. For now, I want to enjoy it as much as possible.”
“I want to learn, to help the young players. This whole crop of players who are almost 30 years old and upwards have less and less time to go.”
