Manchester United legend, Gary Neville has come out to admit that he felt Arsenal had lost Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. He recently revealed that after months of his inconsistencies in front of goal, he thought the deadly Aubameyang would never return again.
According to him, the Gabonese striker never even looked like he wanted to be at the Emirates stadium anymore and he is happy for his performance vs Spurs on Sunday.
Gary added that he expects Auba to keep working hard for the team and giving his all in every match.
His words, “I thought they had lost [Aubameyang] a few months ago, I thought he does not look like he wants to be here anymore.”
“I am really happy with the performance [on Sunday] and the performance against Burnley and with what [Aubameyang] is doing.”
“He was getting criticised and we were asking him to do more. He stood by it and put his head down and he is working tremendously hard for the team, and now I can tell you that he is really giving.”
