Ex-US President, Barrack Obama has jumped on social media to mourn the death of his grandmother, Mama Sarah Onyango Obama. He recently broke the sad news on Instagram, and Nigerians have been reacting.
According to him, he and his family are currently heartbroken because his grandma was very close to the family when she was alive.
Obama added that he’ll miss her dearly, but he won’t stop celebrating her long and remarkable life.

His words, “My family and I are mourning the loss of our beloved grandmother, Sarah Ogwel Onyango Obama, affectionately known to many as “Mama Sarah” but known to us as “Dani” or Granny. We will miss her dearly, but we’ll celebrate with gratitude her long and remarkable life.”
