Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has come out to say Bernardo Silva really likes Barcelona. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, even if he wants the Portuguese forward at City, he will never keep an unhappy player around, especially if they can reach an agreement with the buying club before the window closes.
Pep added that he surely wants him in his team, but it is clear that Bernardo has a soft spot for Barcelona.
His words, “We want Bernardo Silva with us but I don’t want anyone to be unhappy here. The first thing would be for the two clubs to come to an agreement – then of course, I want him in my team. It’s true that Bernardo Silva really likes FC Barcelona.”
Xavi added, “I love Bernardo as a player,”
“He understands everything and has an amazing ability to make decisions. He’s a very important player for Pep and he makes the difference on the pitch.”
