Popular pundit, Paul Ince has compared Odion Ighalo’s UEL wondergoal vs LASK to a training ground exercise, saying he would not have netted it if the fans were in the stadium.
Paul believes it would have been hard for the Nigerian to strike the ball as confidently as he did if there was no stadium ban for the supporters.
According to him, he does not know if he is being harsh on the new Man Utd striker but the goal felt like one that might’ve been impossible to pull off in front of a packed crowd.
Hargreaves added that it was a stunning goal from Ighalo and possibly, one of the best he has ever netted in his career.
His words, “It reminds me of one of those goals you try in training. If it’s a full house, I don’t know,”
“Maybe I’m doing a disservice to him, but I don’t know…”
Hargreaves disagreed, “Come on, Incey, that’s a beautiful goal! That’s one of the best goals he’s ever scored.”
