Manchester United manager, Ten Hag has come out to say that he has no issues with Antony flaunting his tricks on the pitch. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he really doesn’t have any problems with the Brazilian doing that on the porch, as long as it is functional for the team in the end.
Ten Hag added that he’ll keep demanding more from Antony because he has the potential.
His words, “I don’t have a problem with tricks as long as it’s functional,”
“I demand more from him — more runs behind, more often in the box and more playing in the pocket.”
“When there is a trick like that, it’s nice as long as it’s functional. If you’re not losing the ball, then it’s OK — but if it’s a trick because of a trick, then I will correct him.”
