Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp has come out to say that his goalkeeper, Allison will be ready for the first game of the season. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he expects the Brazilian to be ready for the match vs Fulham on August 6, but the Community Shield will come too soon for him.
Klopp added that the Community Shield competition is a very important one, and he’ll try to win it for the first time on Sunday.
His words, “Alisson trained today, more than the day before. He’ll be ready for Fulham (on Aug. 6) but not for the weekend. Diogo, it will take a while, unfortunately,”
On the Community Shield, “It’s very important, it’s the last domestic cup competition we haven’t won yet so we’ll give it a try,”
“If you win it it’s a very important competition. But if you lose, it becomes less important,” he added with a smile.
