Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp has come out to take a swipe at Tottenham’s tactics after their draw at Anfield. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, he is the wrong person to ask about Spurs’ defending during last night’s game because he doesn’t like that kind of football, but that is his personal problem.
Klopp added that he is not happy with the result, but he is also not as sad as the players are right now.
His words, “I am sorry, I am the wrong person to ask about [Spurs’ defending] because I don’t like this kind of football,”
“But that is my personal problem. I think they are world class and I think they should do more for the game.”
“It’s a game against Liverpool and they have 36% possession. But that is my problem. I cannot coach it. So that is why I cannot do it. World-class players, [who] block all the balls. It is really difficult. Fine, whatever, it’s just I can’t. But yes I respect everything they do. But it’s not me.”
“I’m not happy, but not as sad as the players are right now and it is my job to explain why something happens like this,”
“They are down in the dressing room, it was intense. When you play top teams, you need luck in the decisive moments. I’m not happy, but not as sad as the players are right now and it is my job to explain why something happens like this.”
“That is why it is so hard. That is why the Quadruple is so unlikely; there is a reason nobody has done it in this country. We will keep going.”
“I can’t see it. I wish I could think differently but I can’t see it. Our mentality was incredible and the counter-pressing was a different level. But we faced an opponent set-up for counter-attacks with a full week to prepare, we accept that and it is a draw. We will keep going. We weren’t tired.”
