Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca has brushed off transfer speculation linking Rodri with Real Madrid. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
Insisting that every manager across the globe would want the World Cup winner, Maresca stated that he is focused on Rodri’s post-surgery recovery, not the constant rumours about his future.
Stressing that every manager wants a player like Rodri, Enzo added that the Spaniard was the best player at the 2026 World Cup for a reason.
His words, “We have to say that around big players there are always speculation.
I’m not worried about that, it’s normal. They won the World Cup and he was one of the best players.
Every manager wants to have Rodri, but now surgery. He needs to rest and recover, and then he will be back here with us.”
