Ivory Coast coach, Patrice Beaumelle has come out to say that he is not disappointed despite his team crashing out of AFCON. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, it was clearly a very tough match for both teams, and qualification to the quarter-final was down to luck in the end.
Beaumelle added that his players did their very best to put pressure on the Egyptians and he remains proud of his boys.
His words, “It was a tough match for both teams, it’s a matter of luck.”
“The players did their best to put pressure on the Egyptians, so I’m proud of the boys. I congratulate Egypt, who will continue its journey in the tournament.”
“The frustration is there, but I am not disappointed. The match was played on simple details, and it was very tactical and balanced. I am optimistic about the team’s future.”
