The Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji, has sent his congratulations to Senator Hope Uzodimma, his counterpart in Imo State, on his re-election to the governorship position in Saturday’s election in the Southeast state.
Oyebanji sent a message of congratulations to Uzodimma on Sunday, which was signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Yinka Oyebode.
In the message, Oyebanji noted that the landslide victory obtained by Uzodimma has reaffirmed that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is the most acceptable party in the state and in Nigeria.

According to the leader of Ekiti State, Uzodinma’s success reflects the people’s conclusion that the current governor has done a good job in office and, as a result, deserves to be re-elected for a second term.
Oyebanji asked Uzodimma to see his re-election as a motivator to serve the Imo people better, and to ratchet up the gear of good governance and quality leadership to consolidate the good works achieved in his first term. Oyebanji urged Uzodimma to see his re-election as a motivation to serve the Imo people better.
The governor of Ekiti encouraged Uzodimma to offer a hand of fellowship to other candidates who competed against him in the election, with the goal of persuading them to contribute to the development of the state during the governor’s upcoming second term, which would soon be inaugurated.
He lauded the citizens of Imo State for the peaceful manner in which they conducted themselves prior to, during, and after the election for governor.
