    INEC Postpones Distribution Of PVCs In Kaduna

    permanent-voters-cards-pvcThe Independent National Electoral Commission has postponed the distribution of Permanent Voters Card in Kaduna State, which it earlier schedule to take start on Saturday (today).

    This was contained in a statement by INEC Commissioner in the state, Alhaji Aliyu Tambuwal, in Kaduna on Saturday.

    It stated that the PVC distribution would now hold from Monday, December 8 to Friday, December 12, while the Continuous Voter Registration would hold from Friday, December12 to December 17.

    The statement stated that INEC regretted any convenience the postponement would cost Kaduna State residents.

    According to the statement, the postponement is to give the INEC time to address logistic problems that can impede on a hitch-free exercise ahead of 2015 general elections.
