On Monday 11th August 2014 Infosecurity Magazine officially re-launched its website to reflect the latest in user experience, functionality and style.
For the last 10 years Infosecurity Magazine has been at the cutting edge of some of the most dramatic and transformative moments of information security strategy, insight and technology. Therefore, it was only right that the website, www.infosecurity-magazine.com, followed in its trail-blazing editorial footsteps and revolutionized its site from the ground up with user experience at the fore of every design and functionality decision.
A streamlined design, improved navigation and search functionality, and a unique CPD management tool not available anywhere else, are just some advantages of this dramatic change. The sole purpose of the re-launch is to make Infosecurity Magazine more useful, insightful and business functional for our dedicated members, readers and social sharers.
Editor and Publisher of Infosecurity Magazine, Eleanor Dallaway, said: “We wanted to create a website that our loyal and engaged readers can’t live without, and I believe we’ve achieved exactly that. Our core objective remains the same: to deliver information security professionals with the information, news and updates that they need to do their jobs to the best of their ability. Only now, they can do that with the benefit of a site that not only looks amazing, but it easier and quicker to navigate, and offers more content and engagement than ever before.”
The new site features an array of fresh features including audience polling to crowd source opinions on the emerging industry trends, concerns and solution development. Comments are also now available across all articles, features and site content to encourage greater industry debate and collaboration.
An integrated single-sign-on form now grants users access to all member content such as the latest industry reports, whitepapers, webinars and education opportunities, with the main objective of offering information security professionals everything they need to do their job in one place and all with greater ease.
Member profiles give users the ability to manage their preferences, interests and key areas for learning development to ensure they receive a more tailored and business relevant experience on site.
Rebecca Harper, Online Marketing Manager, said: “We undertook this project because we wanted to give our users, readers and social family a more enriching and relevant on site experience whilst also putting the necessary news, tools and knowledge at the users fingertips in an efficient and practical way – I believe we have achieved this and hope everyone will enjoy using the new look website.”
Ultimately, the redevelopment of www.infosecurity-magazine.com will give users access to more relevant information that is easier and faster to find.
